the shallow sides incurved towards the rim, covered overall with a bubble-suffused pale blue glaze thinning to a buff color at the rim, the interior with several mottled purple-blue splashes, the exterior with one vivid splash and three of more muted tone, all supported on a neatly finished unglazed foot

Collection of Millicent Rogers (1902-1953) and thence by descent.
Condition
The cup has a minor glaze flaw beneath the interior rim and a few burst air bubbles. Overall good condition.
