with gently rounded sides lightly molded on the exterior with a band of lotus petals, covered overall in a sea-green glaze stopping irregularly at the foot, the footrim unglazed and burnt slightly orange in the firing, Japanese wood box (4)

Condition

The dish is in overall good condition. The interior with an iron spot and a tiny piece of kiln grit under the glaze. The color of the dish is stronger than depicted in the catalogue.
