Description
- ceramic
with a well-potted tapering ovoid body and narrow ring neck, carved with an overall pattern of foliate scrolls, all beneath a translucent blue-green glaze, Japanese wood box (6)
Provenance
Kitayama Fine Arts, Tokyo, acquired in the 1970s.
Condition
There is a very small shallow chip to the rim. There is a small burst air bubble on the shoulder and some typical wear and abrasion to the glaze overall.
