Description

  • Diameter: 8 ΒΌ inches
the deep rounded sides rising to an everted rim, well-painted on the exterior in varying shades of cobalt blue with the 'three friends of winter', pine, bamboo and prunus with lingzhi, the interior with a central medallion depicting a tight grouping of the same, repeated on the border around the rim, six-character mark in underglaze blue within a double circle

Condition

There is a U-shaped restored section of the rim, approx. 5 1/2 in. (13.9 cm) by 2 1/4 in. (5.7 cm) with a few tiny burst air bubbles and nicks. There is a hairline crack to the base approx. 1 1/4 in. (3.2 cm) long and a chip to the footrim.
