the exterior enameled in green with eight peaches issuing upright from leafy stems radiating from a ruyi border, below a floret diaper band at the rim and ruyi border above the foot, the interior with a roundel of a five-clawed dragon leaping amidst flames in pursuit of a flaming pearl, all reserved on a lemon-yellow ground, six-character mark in brown within a double circle, wood box and cover (4)

Estate of Dr. and Mrs. Gary and Hope Prescott, Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.

Condition

One bowl has two hairline cracks, one restored approx 2 in. (5 cm.) long, and another running parallel approx. 1 in. (2.5 cm.) long, with an associated restored v-shaped chip. There is another hairline crack approx. 1 1/4 in. (3.1 cm) to the rim. The other bowl has two hairline cracks to the rim, one approx. 1 1/4 (3.1 cm) and the other 1 1/2 in. (3.8 cm.). Both bowls have scattered iron-spots to the interior.
