of baluster form surmounted by a short neck, painted with four carp swimming amidst aquatic plants, framed by a lappet band around the shoulders and the eight precious objects around the foot, six-character mark in underglaze blue

Condition

There are three 1/2 in. (1.2 cm) stained hairlines and a burst bubble on the rim. There is a 1 cm. diam flaw within the body which appears as a light brown stain on the shoulder, but clearly apparent under transmitted light.
