Gouache drawing on light brown paper (10 1/2 x 8 3/4 in.; 265 x 220 mm, sight), of a fairy reaching for Christmas baubles from the rays of a burning candle whilst an elf leans against the candle gnawing on a candy cane, signed in the lower right ("Peter Newell '11"). Glazed and framed; frame scratched on right side.
