Gouache heightened with gold on paper, featuring an enthroned ruler at court, between two boxes containing 4 lines of Persian text in neat nasta'liq script in black ink within 4 columns with double intercolumnar rules, margins ruled in colours and gold, the reverse with 22 lines or fewer of text in 4 columns on gold sprinkled paper, heading on gold within foliate cartouche

Condition

In good overall condition, areas with minor rubbing and stains with associated restoration, including overpainting, minor flaking, reverse with some painting from other side visible, as viewed.
