Condition
General 3mm pile, with minor areas of slightly lower pile down to knot-heads. Sides rebound with several small rucks into the narrow outer guard. Some loose binding which should be stabilised before use. Small split centre of right side, which needs some attention. Lower right corner rewoven, approx. 30 by 30cm. section, which has been very well executed and is barely noticeable. Would benefit from a clean.
Overall in good condition. An elegantly drawn example of its type. Balanced classical composition and subtle colouring and overall appearance.
