  • velvet and metal thread
of rectangular form, with a red velvet ground decorated with yellow and silver gilt threads with embroidered and appliqué work, featuring palmettes and floral designs with leafy fronds and sequins throughout, the border with a meandering vine with tulip stems, dark purple silk lining to reverse

Condition

In general good condition, some areas with minor ware, consistent with age, silk lining to reverse possibly re-lined, as viewed.
