Description

  • enamel, steel blade, wood and velvet scabbard
the recurved double-edged watered-steel blade with central ridges, the hilt with emerald-green, light green and yellow enamelling within silver outlines designed as floral stems, the pommel in the form of a parrot's head, the wooden scabbard with red velvet cover and silver mounts enamelled with same floral design, the chape a later replacement

Condition

In general good condition, ware to enamelling and some missing, part of velvet missing, areas of minor oxidisation to blade, as viewed.
