Description

  • tinned copper
of shallow round form with curved, slightly everted rim, featuring a square Kufic inscription to centre with cloud-band motifs within interstices, surrounded by a band of scrolling floral palmettes, against a cross-hatched ground, the reverse plain with two inscriptions and a loop for hanging

Condition

In general good condition, rubbing with resulting discoloration to surface, light scratches, areas of tinning lacking, as viewed.
