Condition

The figure has gone through the ravages of time. It has been broken in several parts and resoldered, there are minor losses to some of the bejewelled belts around the waist of the consort, other parts are bent to one side, there are several cracks where the metal has torn from the base, the gilding is worn across the raised parts of the lotus base. The casting is fine and rich in detail, the gilding a rich golden tone, the mark partially legible (ming ... le nian), the base open.
