Description

  • jade, gold, gemstones, steel blade
the pale green jade hilt finely carved with a rounded pommel and scrolling quillons, set with rubies, diamonds and colourful gemstones and gold-inlay in an elegant design of floral stems, with a curved, double-edged steel blade, the scabbard with a cusped jade locket and chape, also complete with gem-set gold collets

Condition

In overall good condition, some oxidisation to blade, very few minor chips on stones consistent with use, jade hilt in two parts, connected with gold kundan band and decoration, scabbard with some repair, worn cloth around wooden base, small chip to jade locket, stones include principally rubies and colourful stones, as viewed.
