Condition

The colours are fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration, although the blue colour is deeper and less purple in the original work. The work is executed on its original canvas and is not relined. A pinhead size paint loss only visible under very close inspection is located at 10 cm from the left edge and 43 cm from the upper edge. Under UV light inspection, there is no evidence of any retouching. This work is in excellent condition.

Catalogue Note
