Condition

Very good condition for an object of this type and age. General marks, nicks, scratches, abrasions and small chips throughout consistent with age and use. Vertical age cracks, including to front of chest, front proper right side of pulley extending into body, around the lower face and chin, proper right side of the head, and proper left side of back extending into pulley (with old fill). Nails inserted under each side of pulley for attachment to base (loose and with rust); proper right underside with two tacks and wax. Exceptionally fine glossy black patina with dark brown rubbed areas with some white residue.
