Very good condition for an object of this type and age. Minor marks, nicks, scratches, abrasions, small chips, knots, and small losses consistent with age, material, and use. Minor age cracks throughout. The steps rubbed from a long period of use in situ. Fine glossy varied dark brown patina. The underside fitted with a metal sleeve for attachment to base.
