  • marked on backplate with unclear maker's mark, 12 above crossed swords, and two other marks.
  • parcel-gilt silver
  • height 14 1/2 in.
  • 36.8 cm
portico form, centered by crowned hands of blessing, the fonts in the form of lions flanked by vases of flowers, all topped by a cresting of lions holding a crown flanked by griffons, openwork side pieces chased with lions, birds and monster heads, and lantern-form servant lights, on four tall scroll supports.
