Condition
Overall in very good condition. The favrile glass with a few scattered small and minute air bubble inclusions inherent in the making. With very light traces of puddling to the iridescence on the bottom interior, as well as a small isolated area of dark red spotting to the upper interior bowl, inherent in the making as a result of the application of iridescence. A strong example of the form, with finely articulated pulled feather decoration and bold pinched contours around the circumference of the upper floral register, which imparts the vase with a strong sculptural effect. The foot is elaborately decorated with finely articulated green pulled feather decoration (not fully visible in the catalogue illustration). The interior of the vase and underside of the foot are subtly iridized, imparting the vase with luminous color.
