Condition

Overall in very good condition. The shade with approximately 10 cracks to the glass dispersed throughout. There are a few small and minor areas to the shade leading that were recently stabilized by a professional Tiffany conservator along the bottom rim. A few of the cracks noted above were also stabilized. There is no evidence of any glass replacement in the shade. The patinated bronze surfaces of the base display a rich russet brown patina. The bronze surfaces throughout with some occasional surface scratches, surface abrasions, rubbing to the patina, and surface soiling in the recessed contours consistent with age and use. All three sockets and paddle switches appear to be original and undisturbed, with minor surface wear and soiling. A particularly strong example of the model with a well-varied and artistic glass selection, most notably distinguished by the vigorously mottled glass delineating the floral blossoms and background passages, imparting the shade with a painterly effect.
