Condition

Overall in excellent condition. There is no evidence of any prior restoration to the vase. The underside with small irregular remnants of the kiln stilts which adhered to the base during firing. The interior of the pot is glazed with the bottom speckled a dark cobalt blue. The interior rim and bottom with some irregular dark brown glaze drips. An impressive example displaying a beautifully layered multi-colored glaze. The glaze shows far greater nuances in color when viewed in person than seen in the catalogue illustration. The body is also quite sculptural with strong dimensionality to the form.
