Description

  • turquoise, diamond, silver and gold
Of cluster and foliate design, set with four cabochon turquoises, cushion-shaped, circular-cut and rose diamonds, French import and partial assay marks, later pin fitting, two small rose diamonds deficient.

Condition

Stamped with French import marks for gold and indistinct further assay marks. Turquoise light blue, slightly mottled, some discolouration. Estimated total diamond weight approximately 3.50-4.00 carats, estimated colour J-L, estimated clarity SI on average, some stones I. Two small rose diamonds deficient. Abrasions and discolouration to mount consistent with age and wear. Later brooch pin to reverse. Clasp fitting secure. In good condition.
