on Knoll International `Tulip' table base designed by Eero Saarinen in 1957 for the `Pedestal' Collection

Condition

Numerous scratches and marks to Farhi top commensurate with use and material. One small burn close to edge. The Farhi top rests on the original Knoll marble top, thus making the overall height 73.5cm (29in.) and not as stated in the catalogue description. The base has an oval chipboard support which has a small area of losses at one end, and ten drilled holes which fix in to the marble top. The Knoll base again with wear and light scratching commensurate with age. The marble top, now covered with the Farhi work, with general staining and marks commensurate with age and use.
