upholstered à châssis with polychrome silk embroidered panel within gold galloon trim, European, late 18th century.

Condition

With scattered age and construction cracks, dents and abrasions. Carving with abrasions and small chips and losses. Gesso with fine cracks and minor losses. Regilt, gilding now with some rubbing, losses and surface dirt. With plexiglass to protect textile-covered, possibly later insert. In good overall condition.
