Condition
The canvas has been laid on board. The paint surface is slightly dirty. There is a tacking hole to the lower right corner. There are spots of paint loss to the upper inner edge, possibly from frame abrasion.UV light reveals a line and small areas of retouching to the upper middle and left edge, a further small area to the middle right edge and in places elsewhere. There is a layer of opaque fluorescing varnish. Held in a wooden gold painted frame. Unexamined out of frame.
