- Porcelain and pottery
- height of the first 6 1/2 in.
- 16.5 cm
comprising an English pearlware hexagonal teapot and cover, a pair of Worcester porcelain leaf-shaped pickle dishes and a Staffordshire pearlware small mug inscribed A FRIENDS GIFT. Together with a Japanese porcelain hexagonal pierced jar. 5 pieces.
Condition
Teapot: The spout is restored and there is a small chip to the tip of the spout. Both hands of the putto-formed finial are restored.
Leaf-shaped pickle dishes: One has a 2 inch by 1 inch section broken off and glued back. The other has been broken into multiple pieces and glued back with some further small chips to the rim edge.
Small mug: Very minor chipping to the rim.
Japanese pierced jar: One of the pierced sections on one side has been partially broken at one corner, measuring approximately 3/4 inch by 1-1/2 inch.
