Condition

This photograph is in generally excellent condition. There is very minor wear along the upper edge of the print at the left corner. The reverse of the mount is lightly soiled from handling. Also on the reverse are several abrasions and creases along all four edges.

Catalogue Note

Glen Fishback, photographer, author, and photography school founder, met Weston in 1937, and the two remained friends until Weston’s death in 1958.  This photograph is inscribed to Fishback’s son, who was christened Kurt Edward in honor of, and with affection for, Edward Weston.
