Description

  • Harry Callahan
  • ELEANOR (DOUBLE EXPOSURE)
  • Gelatin silver print
signed in pencil on the image, 1952-53

Condition

This print, on double-weight paper with a surface sheen, is in generally excellent condition. The black margin corners are bumped and there are a few tiny losses of emulsion along the edges. On the reverse of the print are the following annotations in an unidentified hand in pencil: 'XVII,' 'MC164,' and 'Delman.' When examined under ultraviolet light, this print does not appear to fluoresce.
