Description

  • Andy Warhol
  • Flowers (F. & S. II.73)
  • Screenprints
  • Sheet: 912 by 910mm; 35 7/8 by 35 7/8 in
Screenprint in colours, 1970, signed in ball-point pen, stamp numbered 84/250 verso, on sturdy wove paper

Condition

Trimmed unevenly at right and top edge (circa 2-4mm) according to orientation illustrated in the catalogue raisonné, the colours slightly unevenly faded, a central soft horizontal crease extending through the image, water-staining along upper edge of sheet verso (showing through at upper left recto), a few hairline broken creases at extreme edges of sheet, ocassional scuffing, a small brown adhesion at lower edge, minor scattered foxing and discoloration verso, framed. Please note that we have catalogued the print according to the orientation of Warhol's signature, which differes to Feldman & Schellmann's catalogue raisonné.
