Condition

The catalogue illustration is faithful to the original. The canvas has been recently cleaned, restored and relined. The paint surface appears to the naked eye to be secure and in good condition. Inspection under UV light reveals several areas of retouchings in the background, but very few scattered spots in the figure. Offered in a later carved wooden frame with several chips.
