Of openwork design, centered by a row of 17 cabochon rubies weighing approximately 42.00 carats, accented by numerous round rubies weighing approximately 18.00 carats and numerous round diamonds weighing approximately 25.50 carats, gross weight approximately 71 dwts, interior circumference 7¼ inches, signed Van Cleef & Arpels, numbered N.Y.34635, marked ©1954.

Condition

In good condition, with light surface scratching commensurate with wear. The cabochon rubies are a medium light, slightly purplish red, moderately to heavily included with some examples of surface reaching fractures and cavities. The 136 round rubies are a slightly darker purplish red and of good clarity. The 403 round diamonds are approximately E-G color, predominantly VS clarity with some VVS and SI examples. Fitted with a safety closure.
