The sugarloaf cabochon sapphire weighing 20.21 carats, flanked by tapered baguette diamonds weighing approximately .80 carat, size 4¾, signed Cartier Mtg., numbered 53-49342.

Condition

Accompanied by AGL report no. CS 47467 stating that the sapphire is of Kashmir origin, no gemological evidence of heat. The sapphire is a rich, lively medium-deep very slightly violetish blue color; very slightly included with a few minute cavities and slight nicking throughout. When viewed at certain angles under direct light, color zoning is apparent in one quadrant. Diamonds are approximately F-G color and VS clarity. Signed Cartier MTG on side of shank, near gallery and numbered inside the shank, adjacent to signature. In very good condition.
