The sapphires weigh approximately 15.00 carats and are a slightly deep medium blue and are of good clarity, more richly saturated than they appear in the printed catalogue. The sapphire at the thumbpiece is chipped. The bracelet is in good condition overall. Signed Boucheron Paris on the rim of the bracelet, near the hinge. One section of the leather, velvet-lined box has become detached. Provenance: Christie's New York, October 2, 2003, lot 258, "Property from the Charsky Collection of Antique Jewelry."
