Set in the center with a fancy-shaped opal, within a frame of foliate design applied with bluish-green enamel, size 7, signed G. Fouquet, numbered 9730, maker's marks, French assay mark.

Condition

In overall good condition. Slight enamel loss to one shoulder. The translucent opal presents an evenly distributed, moderate play-of-color with green, violet and red flashes predominating. The opal is in very good condition with no apparent crazing. Signed on the underside of the gallery and numbered on the shank interior. The maker's mark stamped along the side of the shank and again on the underside.
