The brooch of bow design, pierced and millegrain-set with a step-cut sapphire, circular-, single-cut and rose diamonds, signed Boucheron, Paris, French assay marks, the ring set with circular-cut diamonds, highlighted with enamel and rose diamonds, size 53, French assay and maker's marks, one small diamond deficient.
Condition
Stamped with French assay marks for platinum. Brooch signed Boucheron Paris, ring with maker's marks for Frederic Boucheron. Sapphire in brooch estimated to weigh approximately 4.45 carats, strong colour saturation, few inclusions visible under close inspection, few nicks, scratches and abrasions. Diamonds bright and lively. Three larger diamonds on ring estimated to weigh approximately 0.30 to 0.95 carats, H-I colour, VS-SI clarity. Signs of normal wear to the metal, scratches consistent with use, one small diamond deficient on ring, slight discolouration and minor solder marks on brooch. In good condition.
