Condition

The canvas is relined and well-stretched. The paint is thickly applied to the lower portion of the composition with a palette knife. In addition to this, the central figure is also composed of thickly applied paint. Scattered craquelure is visible throughout the sky. Under ultraviolet inspection, fluorescing occurs but more than likely this is inherent to the paint selected by the artist. Overall, this work is in very good condition.
