Condition

Executed on buff colored paper laid down on paper. The mounting sheet is affixed to a card with adhesive at all four corners. Top, bottom and right edges of the sheet have been cut. There are nine tiny artist pinholes located near the top and bottom corners and edges. Sheet is time darkened and slightly stained in some places. The extreme top right and bottom edges have been scored with pencil. Gentle creases scatttered throughout, particularly to the outer edges of the composition, including a one inch verticle crease running through the figure's nose. There are a few minor tears to the extreme outer edges of the composition including a 1/4 inch horizontal tear along lower left edge, a 1/8 inch horizontal tear along bottom right edge, a small pinhead size loss to upper right corner and two 1/2 inch tears which meet at the lower center of the figure's bowtie, otherwise the work is in generally good condition.
