• gilt three quarter plate movement, the back plate secured by three screws, fusee with maintaining power, 11 jewels, gold wheel train with spring detent escapement, two-arm compensation balance with wedge-shaped weights and timing screws, free-sprung spherical balance spring, one-minute tourbillon with polished steel semi-circular carriage fitted with a platinum weight • gold cuvette with winding hole • white enamel dial, Roman numerals, subsidiary dial for direct-drive seconds, fan-form aperture for Réaumur thermometer scale • engine-turned case with concentric circles to the back

Condition

Movement running while cataloguing, functions are operational but may require a service in the near future in order to be well preserved. Dial very well preserved in its original condition. Case in a very well preserved condition with a beautiful engine-turned pattern of concentric circles on the outer case back. Inside case back also very well preserved stamps and hallmarks. Overall this is among the finest tourbillon complicated pocket chronometer produced in the history of Swiss chronometry.
