Catalogue Note

With an Audemars Piguet Certificate and presentation case.

The caliber AP 2899 took five years of development and uses direct impulsion which Audemars Piguet debuted in this watch. It is inspired by a movement invented in 1791 by the French watchmaker Robert Robin. The movement transmits energy directly from the escapement to the balance, eliminating the need for lubrication, and is also shock resistant.

This model was made in a limited series of 20 pieces in platinum.
