Designed as an articulated flowering vine, set with numerous round diamonds weighing 5.08 carats, length 7½ inches, signed Margherita Burghener, Made in Italy, numbered 30071201; together with a silk cord for wear as a pendant, length 26 inches. With signed box.

Condition

In very good condition overall. Some minor irregularities to the anodized finish seen upon close inspection, with more apparent irregularities on the reverse (not seen when worn). The colors of the flower buds are more subtle than indicated by the printed catalogue illustration. Composed of three movable sections, the brooch is fitted with two pins to allow for a variety placement configurations. The petals on the largest flowerhead are articulated. The diamonds are approximately G-H color, VS-SI clarity. Made from titanium, the brooch is remarkably light. Inscribed with diamond weights.
