Condition

Drilled and wired for electricity. Regilt, gilding now with some surface dirt. Some strands disconnected. Lacking some glass drops, some with minor chips and some replaced. Outcurving elements of basket possibly associated. In good condition.

Catalogue Note

The workshop of Werner and Mieth was founded in Berlin in 1792 on Friedrichswerde, Jägerstraße 64. In 1822 they changed their name into Werner and Neffen.
