Catalogue Note

In 1986 Dr. Daniels built a large working model of the co-axial escapement which was electrically driven. The model was to be used at the Basel fair that year. The model was displayed with blue ribbons radiating from it, attached to each was a wristwatch containing a Co-Axial escapement. These were by Omega, Rolex, Patek Philippe, Zenith, Urban Jurgensen and Daniels. The display attracted many visitors, however no one approached Dr. Daniels to ask any questions, but he could clearly see their curiosity.
