  • stoneware
of circular form, the box with straight sides rising from an angled base and short footring, the flat cover with angled shoulder and straight sides surmounted by a lotus bud finial, covered overall in a white glaze

Condition

The box and cover are in good condition with the exception of two small flakes to the edge of the cover (4 x 3 and 2 x 1mm.,), and a 4 x 1mm., flake to the edge of the rim of the box. It should be noted that the glaze is slightly creamier white than the catalogue illustration would suggest.
