modelled standing on a shaped base wearing a blue-glazed shawl over a streaky ochre-glazed tunic and leggings, the unglazed right arm raised and supporting a blue-glazed falcon, the left arm held bent at his side, the unglazed plump face with eyes concentrated on the bird of prey

Condition

This rare figure is in good overall condition with the exception of minor restoration to one of the bunches of hair on the side of the head, to the extremities of the bird, encircling the right arm and wrist, and possibly around the neck.
