Condition

This work is in very good condition overall. There is evidence of extremely fine craquelure at the top left of the dollar sign and along the left edge of the dollar sign. Under Ultraviolet light inspection, there is a small spot of retouching located 7 ½ inches from the bottom and 3 ½ inches from the left edge that fluoresces darkly. Unframed.

Catalogue Note

"I like money on the wall. Say you were going to buy a $200,000 painting. I think you should take that money, tie it up, and hang it on the wall. Then when someone visited you, the first thing they would see is the money on the wall." - Andy Warhol
