Colour: The catalogue illustration is fairly accurate; although the background tends towards a lighter beige in the original. Condition: This work is in good condition. The sheet is attached to a fabric backing mount at intervals on the reverse. There are artist's pin holes in the top two corners and at the centre of the top edge, with a tiny tear to the right of this. There is a very small paper loss above the signature on the right edge and a minor scuff towards the lower part of the left edge, both visible in the catalogue illustration. There are a few further nicks and creases in a few places elsewhere. Notably parallel with the top right edge. The media spots surrounding the thicker areas of ink are visible in the catalogue illustration and are in keeping with the artist's choice of medium. All other irregularities are in keeping with the age of the work and the artist's working process.
