Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate. Condition: This work is in very good condition. The paint surface would appear to have the artist's original unvarnished appearance. There are a few surface deposits and drips in the white background. Inspection under ultra-violet light highlights the various surface drips and no retouchings are visible under ultra-violet light. There are very small chips of paint loss in the upper left and upper right corners and visible beneath the frame, along the upper horizontal framing edge and other tiny spots of similar loss which are all of minimal size.
