Condition

An attractive pair in overall good conserved condition. There is a later wooden frame supporting the back panels. Some of the shelves have a break and will need restoring. There is a very attractive original lock inside. Some of the mounts are slightly dirty as is the brass and would benefit from a light clean according to taste. Evidence of previous fixing internally where there could have been fabric. Various inventory numbers on the reverse of one. Old very minor marks and scratches throughout commensurate with age and use. The side of one has suffered more than the other particularly one with various restorations and hairline splits in the veneer but these are not too noticable and do not detract from the piece.
