Condition
Oil on cradled panel, which is flat and even. The panel has a liner around the extreme edges which is flush with the panel. Under ultraviolet light the dark green pigments fluoresce, however these appear to be the artist's original and not retouching. Overall this work is in good original condition and would benefit from a clean.
The colours are overall less warm than in the catalogue illustration, with less red.
Held in a decorative gold-painted frame.
