Description

  • porcelain
of waisted cylindrical form flaring towards the foot, set with a loop handle to one side, painted to the exterior with figures within a garden landscape, encircled at the rim with a floral scroll and the foot with a lappet band

Condition

A shallow oval chip to one side of the circular aperture to handle (measuring approximately 15mm by 5mm) ; with a smaller associated chip ( 3mm by 4mm). The handle also with several burst glaze bubbles and a faint firing crack partially encircling the upper part of the handle where it meets the body. Minor firing imperfections elsewhere; otherwise in good condition.
